Gadson Falls To Snyder, 2-0

LINCOLN, Neb. – Cyclone Regional Training Center athlete Kyven Gadson fell to reigning Olympic and World Champ Kyle Snyder at Final X Lincoln on Saturday night. Snyder won the best-of-three series, 2-0, winning the first match by 9-0 decision and the second match 10-2.

Gadson will be on the United State National Team, marking the second year in a row that he’s been a member of the National Team.

Match One
In the first match of the evening, Snyder defeated Gadson 9-0. At the intermission, Snyder led 5-0 on a pair of takedowns and a pushout. He tacked on another two takedowns in the second period to take match one in the best-of-three series.

Match Two
Gadson came out firing in match two. In the opening seconds, he doubled Snyder, sending him off the stage. Snyder countered to tie the match at 2-2 at the end of the first period. In the end, Gadson would fall to Snyder 10-2 in the second match.
